Conventional rotary table blast machines are usually loaded manually and differ considerably from satellite indexing rotary table blast machines. The most common application is the cleaning of cast or die-cast workpieces and the roughening of surfaces before coating.

Satellite (indexing) rotary table systems, often with robot handling, are used in automatic lines, primarily in the automotive and automotive supply industry. This is used, for example, for hardening the surfaces of transmission parts. Let us convince you of our diverse solutions.

How it works

Operation

The diagram on the left shows the path of the workpieces through the AGTOS blasting system. You can count on us to always consider the optimal solution for your workpiece. In doing so, we take into account the factors of time, cost and material. This is how you optimise your production.

When the workpieces are being processed, the turntable stops, the doors open and one or more workpieces are placed on the turntable. The door closes, the workpieces are turned into the blasting area and cleaned.

In the blasting system, the workpieces to be processed are blasted continuously in the rear area of the rotary table while the table is rotating, while loading and unloading takes place at the front. The loading and unloading area of the rotary table is well sealed against stray blasting material by means of airlocks.

In the satellite rotary table blast machine, the workpieces are blasted on radially arranged rotating pick-up satellites. Cycle operation is usually provided here.

In all of these different machine types, the blasting abrasive is continuously cleaned, recirculated and reused. Via the abrasive dosing device the cleaned abrasives, coming from the abrasive silo, arrives at the high performance turbines.

A fan generates the necessary negative pressure to ensure dust-free operation of the blasting systems. The extracted air is cleaned with a filter system.
